Im Studienjahr 2014/15 wird zusätzlich zum Lehrpreis "Lehre: Ausgezeichnet!" ein Preis für inklusive Lehre vergeben. Damit sollen Lehrende ausgezeichnet werden, die in der Gestaltung ihrer Lehrveranstaltung die Bedürfnisse von Studierenden mit Behinderung besonders gut berücksichtigen, das heißt die Rahmenbedingungen und den Ablauf der Lehrveranstaltung so gestalten, dass Teilnehmende mit Behinderung sowohl inhaltlich als auch in der Interaktion gleichwertig teilnehmen können.
Der allgemeine Fokus des Lehrpreises liegt im laufenden Studienjahr auf Kooperation. Damit sind Lehrveranstaltungen gemeint, in denen die Interaktion und nachhaltiges, kreatives Lernen ermöglicht und unterstützt werden. Dazu gehört unter anderem auch, die Diversität der Studierendengruppe in einer Lehrveranstaltung zu thematisieren und die Studierenden anzuleiten, die daraus entstehenden vielfältigen Erfahrungen und Zugänge schätzen und nutzen zu lernen.
Genau dies zeichnet auch inklusive Lehre aus, indem neben der konkreten Unterstützung von Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmern mit Behinderung bei der Durchführung der gestellten Aufgaben auch deren Erfahrungen und Herangehensweisen wertschätzend in die Lehrveranstaltung einbezogen werden.
